Any direction on an automated email that can be sent to users when a file is updated?

Any help is appreciated.

Yes. Users can either subscribe to folders (top right in the folder pane)
or you can use the workflow plugin to setup automatic notification of users
or groups upon certain events (such as upload). The workflow is a paid
plugin, and you can contact sales@razuna.com if you are interested in
purchasing.
