Issue with assests not uploading

You can go to Administration>Maintenance>Flush template cache to flush cache for the tenant. Alternatively you can delete all the files in the parsed folder for the tenant at /tomcat/webapps/razuna/raz1/dam/parsed.
Another way is also to do it via the link you have mentioned for reset cache.

Cron job is not recommended to delete cache as the cache is needed if you want the application to perform well and load speedily. You should not have to delete cache unless there are updates to the application that require it.

Is it your impression that this will clear up the issue entirely or should I start a re-install? I see there were 2 recommendations on how to remedy the current situation. I have flushed the cache as of now I will have my users test and see if the issue returns, but I just wanted to make sure that it wasn’t recommended to do a reinstall as well.

If the template flush does not remedy the situation I would recommend a clean install.
If you do a clean install I would recommend grabbing the 1.7 branch which is very close to the official release which we will be releasing soon.

To do this simply grab the 1.6.5 package with tomcat etc. and then drop the 1.7 ‘Razuna’ folder into /tomcat/webapps and then restore assets folder from backup and database from backup.

I Determined that assets are being stored in the install directory and causing our /opt slice to become unstable which is then causing the “Assets is still in progress” warning.

The location the assets are being temporarily stored is /opt/razuna_tomcat_1_6_5/tomcat/webapps/razuna/raz1/dam/incoming/ - our config points to store assets to /razunadata where we have a 5TB slice. What are your space recommendations of you install slice?

Can you tell me when 1.7 will be out of beta?

Sorry I have no idea what you are writing here? Guidelines how to store your data on another drive or directory is available at http://wiki.razuna.com/display/ecp/How+to+move+the+asset+directory+to+another+drive

Razuna 1.7 should be released next week.

This is occurring again in our Razuna environment. The /opt directory is fill up 100% an dnot being released. The directory that is filling up is /opt/razuna_tomcat_1_7/tomcat/webapps/razuna/raz2/dam/incoming/. For some reason the every 6 hour maintenance is not releasing old files from this directory. Can you offer any advice?

Is this related to this thread?

You have your own server, I.e. You are responsible for it and for the space
you allocate to Razuna.
