Image conversion from .png to .webp format

Can Razuna convert images from transparent .png to transparent webp format?

We would like to be able to set up a template to do this conversion when new .png images are added to our image library.

If it doesn’t today, is this something that can easily be added?

You can go into the backend admin and add webp as an accepted file type
under “File Types”. We added it as a standard file type for upcoming
versions.

Hi Nitai,

I am using version 1.7, and I added the webp to where you suggested in File Types in admin.

Now if I go into my user facing site, and go to an image, in the renditions tab I still don’t see the webp format as being available? How do I make it available here as well as when I set up a new upload template?

Sorry misunderstanding. These options are hardcoded. The file type only
allows you to upload those files and make them available within Razuna as
images.
