I’m running Razuna 1.6.5 on an Ubuntu 14.04. LTS host and I’m having following problems:
I can not set up Razuna’s Email-Server. Although the SMTP, IMAP and their ports are correct I’m receiving the spoolingMailServer - spoolingMailServer when trying to respool undelivered mails.
I can not connect Razuna with OpenLDAP.
Any ideas?
I would gladly upload pictures with issue number 1, but I’m not allowed by your system.
This looks like an issue with your server and firewall, permission, etc.
Please look into that and then try again. Additionally, I would perform
some email tests on the wheel to see if all works.
We have a 3MB upload limit. Not sure what you mean with “…you are not allowed to add picture…”?
Never mind, a new user wasn’t allows to add images. I’ve changed this now so new users can upload (still limited) but then it is a spam protection for everyone else
there is a screenshot of the issue. The server is whitelisted in the Firewall and all needed ports are open. The deamon runs as root, so he have all needed priviliges.
The backend engine is not exactly part of Razuna and provided by the engine itself. That said, I can see that there is a bug with respooling mails.
But frankly, I don’t see why you need this. This is nothing in relation to Razuna. We’ve developed Razuna in such a way that you don;t need to fiddle in the backend setting at all. Simply setup your mail settings and be done with it.
this is already done, but the emalis aren’t recieved by the users that should recieve them. The server itself is able to send and recieve emails. Are there any other logs where I can find the source of the issue?
And about LDAP: Is Razuna able to import user from an OpenLDAP-Server? The settings are done, but it seems like they aren’t been recognised. Is AD a must?
In my experience setting up a server properly to send out emails is not a small feat. You definitely want to install postfix on your server if you want to send out from it. Look in the bluedragon/works/cfmail folder for the mail.log.
Another options (and highly recommended) is to use sendgrid.com to send emails. We use sendgrid for years and it simply works.
LDAP works with every LDAP server. However, you have to fiddle with the settings a lot to get it right. Not our fault
