Video Renditions 'Convert Now' function does not work

hi,
i uploaded a video clip(.mp4), then want to Convert it to MOV or other formats. It is failed, there is no new file created, but it still shows “We are now converting the original asset to your selected formats. Depending on speed of your server this can take some time”.
Appreciate for your help.

Hi Aileen ,

Because depend on the size of video files so the system will take time to process for converting task.

You can switch to another tab then go back to rendition tab to check is there a new rendition video files or not.

Please try again and let me know within the screenshot.

I do not think for the size issue. Because when convert a .jpg file to .png, still failed.

Please check the FFMpeg Path from the Tools Settings in Backend of your site to see how.

Okay ,

So please try to flush the database and template cache.

Then restart the tomcat and try to converting task again to see how.

hmm…I will try more.
In fact, i stalled on a windows platform and a CentOS platform, both cannot convert successfully.
Anyway, still thanks a lot.

Could you describe the installation steps on windows platform for me to check if is there a missing steps during installation time ?

I followed installation steps: JAVA, ghostscript, imagemagick, ffmpeg, exiftool, dcraw, ufraw, mp4box. Installing process no issues.

And say more, i installed imagemagick successfully in C:\ImageMagick, but it always shows “…not exists” in Tools config. like my screenshot. Other tools’ paths no problem.

Here is my Imagemagic path : C:\Program Files\ImageMagick-6.9.2-Q16

If it is possible , you can reinstall again to see how.

Thanks Nguyen, after reinstalling finished. It works normally.
