I have a self-hosted install of Razuna on Windows Server 2012R2. I have followed the installation instructions appropriately and have a nice working version, its a great product!
When uploading videos, we are not seeing the XMP metadata populated with the videos, however they are being populated when uploading images. I have properly installed all of the external tools including Exiftool. The XMP data on the videos are present in the raw metadata after uploading, but the keywords and description fields are not being populated.
When I run the command found in the raw metadata, exiftool.exe -fast -fast2 -a -g -x ExifToolVersion -x Directory -x filename myfile.mp4 - it generates the proper data.
I’m wondering if I am missing something, doing something wrong or if this is a known issue. Wondering why the data is being populated in images but not videos. Please advise on any suggestions that may help, I have cleared all application cache and have checked appropriate settings. Thank you in advance for any help that can be provided.
See attached image, the videos do indeed have XMP metadata and they are being parsed and in the raw metadata of the video data. Its the same metadata structure that is in the images and we are using Adobe Bridge for tagging. Images are working fine, audio/video is not auto-populating the data. There is indeed subject/description tags within the XMP data as well.
Thank you, your team has truly created a great product. If we do any customization or plugins, we will definitely be sure to share! Thank you for the discussion and quick responses, greatly appreciated.
Keep in mind that Razuna 2.0 is based on a completely new technology stack and will differ at first from the current feature set. I would say about 80-0% of all features of the current Razuna 1.7 feature set will be in Razuna 2.0.
However, building plugins and extending Razuna 2.0 will be much easier as everything will be an API and it is more geared towards extending and integration.
