I get the fact that you can share folders, and a URL is provided for that… but is there a way to just share folders to an entire tenant of people and just have it show up in the folder tree on the left? I’d like to be able to upload photos/videos to Razuna, but then have my wife come in later and add metadata to the assets so they’re searchable, but the only way we can do this easily is to just login using a common account. While this works, it makes it hard to track history on the files. Just all shows the same person making edits/changes to things.
Hi pagesix1536,
From the sharing settings of a folder in Razuna , you can set which user in user list of current tenant can access or not with specific permissions by checkin or un-check user accounts from user list.
About the log of assets in Razuna , if your wife using your account to add metadata to assets so the system will show the same account in the log. It should be better to tracking assets status in the log is you create another account for your wife to update the metadata for assets.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
Yes…but how does she see assets I’ve uploaded to Razuna? I only see my folders/assets and she only sees hers. Why is there no option to make folders visible to all users of a tenant in the folder tree at the left?
When I use the share URL that is provided from the sharing screen, I get a slimmed down interface showing just the images and no ability to do anything to them other than put them in a basket. I get the impression that’s for people outside of Razuna…not for people logged in.
I figured it out. Apparently you need to be a member of the “Administrator” group of a tenant. When I enabled that… ALL KINDS of options showed up and now I have the ability “show folders of all users”. Don’t quite understand why I needed to be an administrator to see shared folders, but since it’s just a hosted version being used in my own home…I’ll just roll with it like that.
