When trying to download an asset we get the following message.
Oops, something really strange happened here. Please copy the error message below and send it to your administrator who will help resolve the problem. Thank you.
Error:
General Runtime Error
We can still download another format of the same file and the thumbnail but not the jpg version we need. It only affects some files, which were all added at the same time.
If I re-upload the file it seems to fix it but there are over 2000 files and I can’t see any way round uploading them all again and taking the chance that the same problem re-occurs. Please help!
I have the exact same problem and if I run the “Database & Asset Cleaner” and run the script “Check records against the file system” it returns a lot of error messages.
Most of them (1.000+) is “Missing Thumbnail” but I also get a lot of “Missing Original Asset” which is way more annoying as it will take quite some time to upload and tag the originals again.
Does it have to do with the latest update?
Looking forward to hear what to do…
Thanks
We are using Razuna 1.7 using mysql 5.5 running on suse linux. We also have the problem: original jpg files are not in the file system, but the thumbnails are in place. The logs provide no further help on the cause of the problem. Is there any way we can help you solve this problem?
You are using your own server, right? (because this is posted in the “hosted” category). My best guess is that somehow your file system got corrupted. Razuna does not delete files on the system without your approval.
Thank you for your quick reply. You are right we do self-hosting I posted here because the problem I have is the same. Next time I’ll open a new issue.
I understand your point on the system file. However I was wondering if the problem could have happened on the upload of the images, and Razuna didn’t fail. Anyway, I’ll contact our Administrator and ask him to check the file system.
Thank you for your kind words. Unless something happened to the file
system, there is really nothing in Razuna that overwrites or deletes the
originals. Something must have gone wrong. I do recommend a good backup
solution
