To explore Razuna for our requirements I’ve created a demo instance. I’ve created a folder and it’s subfolder added some videos and pictures and in the sharing options gave permission to everyone to download the original content. Opened the shared link in some other browser. All the pictures and videos are visible but after adding them to basket the option to download them is not coming. How can I resolve this issue. Does Razuna supports downloading content from shared folders?
Thanks for your reply. Yes, I’ve clicked on “Reset setting on individual assets” in the folder sharing tab. Tried it multiple times but still getting the issue. Please see the screenshots below.
Hi Sanjeev,
You have enabled the Ordering system - see at the bottom of the sharing
tab. Please disable the ordering system and the users will be able to
download the files directly.
Do we have workflow capabilities in Razuna? Like when some one uploads an asset then we shall be able to approve it before making it available to view and download by other users. Like the feature we have in Resourcespace where we have 2 step - Pending Submission, Pending Review. Content in “Active” state will have to be configured as ready for consumption and download. Please let us know how can we do this in Razuna.
Can you please provide some more details on the pricing for UNLIMITED Storage UNLIMITED Traffic plan shown at https://razuna.com/signup ? Is $149/month and only $0.95 per GB/month is a necessary expense even for a stand alone server?
Can we deploy Razuna on our own instance of AWS without any additional support $ cost to us?
Size limit of individual files that can be uploaded?
Number of concurrent users (searchers and users of material, not editors) on web-based platform?
How is the Social Media Integration in Razuna? Can we post assets to facebook, twitter, youtube etc directly from Razuna?
It does not have a built-in approval workflow, but our customers build
workarounds for that (i.e. move file, tag file and/or call external URL).
Unilimited
This is intended for small businesses or photographers, who need to store a
lot of assets but with limited traffic. If you need more than 200 GB and
expect several users of the system (especially for uploads), we always
recommend one of the dedicated servers. You can see the dedicated server
plans here: https://razuna.com/signup_dedicated.cfm
AWS deployment
Yes, you can do so, as long as you adhere to the AGPL license terms.
Size limit
There is no file size limit. However due to browser (http) contrictions,
you can have trouble uploading more than 10GB via the drag and drop
fearure. If you need more, you can either upload via the API or using FTP.
Concurrent users
As mentioned the shared cloud platform is not intended for heavy users. We
cannot give you exact numbers, cince it depends on number of files, size of
files, amount of metadata etc. We do have the following general
recommendations:
If you go above 50 concurrent downloads or 10 concurrent editors/uploaders,
we suggest a combination of SSD server + separate database server with
Amazon S3 storage
In any case, this is not cast in stone, so I’d rather have a direct dialog
with you, where we try to understand better, what you are trying to achieve
and what kind of performance you are looking for.
If you need support, we provide support subscriptions. If you need the workflow plugin and other add-ons you will have to purchase a support subscription too. Here are the details: http://razuna.org/support/subscriptions
Thanks Nitai. We are an NGO/Charity, non profit organization working in the field of meditation and spirituality. We’ll be using Razuna to distribute digital content to our volunteers around the world. There will be no commercial purpose. Can you please let me know if we need to go for AGPL license version or the commercial version. Also if it is commercial version, Can you please let me know estimated annual $ cost for our organization.
