While trying to move a file to another folder, I cannot see the list of my folders. The only folder I can choose is the default Upload folder.
Razuna 1.7 works just fine, compared the settings and finds no difference.
From where are you initiating the move? Also in what group are you in?

Within the tenant web interface. I login as Administrator / user. I chose an asset and click the option Move, the pop-up window opens, and in the list I do not see the folders I have created. This neither works for Collections.
Tried it in Chrome and Safari with no luck.
My setup is Ubuntu server 14.04.3 LTS, Java version “1.8.0_66”, Tomcat 8.0.28. (installed in opt), and I see no errors in catalina out.
I hope I am clear now, otherwise, drop me a line and I will attach some more screen shots.

Another issue is that after uploading assets, the thumbnails dose not automatically show up. I need to click the folder icon to get the thumbnails viewed.
That is not exactly an “issue” as the creation of thumbnails takes some time and we changes how it works slightly.
In 1.8 the upload is pushed to the background. The benefit of this is when you upload a lot of files it will provide a faster and more accurate feedback to the user. However, when you only upload one or two files it won’t make a difference.
Since 99% of our customers are uploading more than one file and also upload large files this technique was introduced.
