Image Orientation Change

We are using Razuna with a mobile app we are developing. We notice that some images that are posted from mobile devices flip 90 degrees once they are retrieved – say for a person’s user profile. It appears that images with stronger brightness contrast between one portion of the image to another have this happen to them. We have found this is happening whether images are posted up from Android or iOS devices, so are assuming that this is something within the Razuna environment. Could this be the case? Is there something we can do to preserve the orientation of images that are posted on to Razuna?

Rotation will most likely happen when there is rotation marked in the
metadata. I suspect that mobile devices have the rotation in the metadata.
Remove the metadata before adding it to Razuna and it should work as usual.
