How to include the original filename in a shared asset?

Hi,
I just downloaded thumbnails of assets to my computer. The generated filename was something like: thumb_23C7A0F08EE745C59BE4DF56BDF182C4.jpg whereas the original filename was 630-20-04.jpg. As it contains the product name (630) I need the generated filename more similar, so that one can identify the content by the filename.
How can I influence the filename generation?

The thumbnail has a random value and there is no way to change that. The
original file or its renditions will have the file name that you set in the
system on download, independent of the original file name.

OK, thanks. Is there a chance to add a Retention template as a batch to an existing folder or do I have to delete the files and upload them again?
