Getfolders api call takes a long time

Version : 1.6.5
Storage : AWS S3

After upgrading to 1.6.5 from 1.6.2, it seems the getfolders api call has slowed down significantly. All other api calls like getfolder with a specified folderid and getasset are performing well and fast.

the user whose api key I am using is an administrator. it’s the same user I have been connecting as when it was still in 1.6.2

any ideas why ?

This is something we have addresses in Razuna 1.7. Sorry about that.

Can I get a patch instead ? If you can point me to the specific commit in github, I should be able to create and apply the patch myself.

An upgrade requires some down time and I don’t think I can schedule another one so soon after an upgrade as this system is heavily in use.

I can’t promise that it works as we have changed quite a lot for Razuna 1.7 but you can get the file here https://github.com/razuna/razuna/blob/master/global/api2/folder.cfc

You definitely want to compare with the one you have. Additionally, please do not deploy this on production until you are sure it works.

You say you are in production, do you have a support contract with us? Cause there are many things we can make your server faster or even help you mitigate those issues.

Unfortunately did not work. Where can I get Razuna 1.7 ? Github ? Latest release is still at 1.6.5 .
A stand-alone version is not yet available on razuna.org.

Speaking of your support contract. Can you point me to a page where I can review the pricing and options ? I only see pricing for hosting in razuna.com

Razuna 1.7 is not yet released and considered “in development”. If you want
to try it out you can either wait for the first beta to arrive (real soon)
or go to our github repository and switch branches to the 1.7 one (the
“develop” branch is the bleeding-edge one).
