CMYK images have an odd colored preview

Hello,

Today, I tested the Razuna Aplliance.
Can anyone explain to me if it handles CMYK images?

If i upload CMYK images they have a high contrast and Vidid colors, unseen in the original images.

I tried the IE8 setting [force RGB]
That displays another incorrect vivid.view, with even more contrast.

To test if not only my browser showing odd colors that may actually be right on the server; I converted the file in Razuna to RGB and downloaded it.
Opening this file in Photoshop showed the same cartoonesque colored image!

Is Razuna incapabel of handling CMYK? Or must i change some ImageMagic parameters somewhere?

Olaf,

Converting images from CMYK to any other format automatically looses quality in the progress. There are sure tones of ImageMagick parameters to tweak. However, we do not expose them as we have found the perfect setting for 99% of our customers.

In Version 2.0 we will expose them, but as it stands now you would have to tweak the source code to do so. That said, I cannot say that this will yield the perfect result either.
